It's OK (by me)

It's that time again. A time to reflect on what we did a little less then perfect but, who cares!  Shake it off! It's ok! I'm going to play along with airingmylaundry today as I tell you what items/events/activities are OK by me.

Check out her latest post here!

It's OK that it snowed here last night.  March is fighting for spring and winter is not ready to leave yet.

It's OK that I didn't go to the gym today. The end of the world didn't happen.  I didn't feel like it so my me time consisted of reading and hanging out today.

It's OK that we had another Daylight savings day.  Paperwork has been filed to eliminate it.  Would that really make you happier?  I think there are other issues out there more important.

It's OK that Im trying to figure out if I really like that new show Good Girls on NBC.  I have watched 3 episodes and it's kind of entertaining to watch.  3 moms rob a bank and a gang member tries to get his money back but the women who have spent it are feisty.

It's OK that I'm a little excited for PI day.  All I'm seeing is PIES!! My local store had pizza pies on sale today and tomorrow in honor of.  I'm thinking Sonic should discount a Banana Cream Pie shake.

That's my OK week!  What are you OK with?  The weekend will be here soon!

  1. Oh I am so with you that Daylight Savings should be done with! I have such a hard time getting up in the morning when it's dark outside. I'm ok with us not doing our Monday plans for spring break because allergies hit my youngest son and me hard so we had to cancel our outdoor plans.

  3. I agree with your points. It is completely okay that there is still snow. It's completely okay that I also didn't make it to the gym. And it is completely okay to have another daylight savings day! It can be rough the first days after!

  5. I haven't tried Good Girls...although I did just watch 7 seasons of a show that I decided I didn't really like. I always end up feeling like I need to finish and netflix just keeps streaming!!

  6. I love this as a mantra: it will be ok. It is ok. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect. It’s ok to not be perfect. And yes, about daylight savings time!

  7. This is such a fun post! We got 18 inches of snow over the past 24 hours and honestly it is ok with me too! I know it will melt quickly :-)

  8. I agree with you that it's okay to not be perfect all the time. Missing the gym? Eh, you can workout tomorrow. I totally got takeout instead of making my kids dinner the other day, and that's okay too!

  9. I think the it's ok days are really kind of fun. I really need to think about doing one sometime. Although I'm not sure what I would be ok about. Something. Anything. Who knows? And it's ok to miss the gym now and again. Just not long term.

  10. Oh, dear, it's been awhile since I've made it to the gym, too - so I guess we're being "OK" about that together? Always glad to know I'm in good company there, lol :)

  11. Sometimes I really do think that why do we lead our life like a robot, have a same schedule, and this post came at the right time. Well it's absolutely fine if we plan something else for us and live in a moment, afterall we should not take life so seriously.

  12. This is one of my favorite link ups! I've been wanting to see Good Girls but I can never remember the name when I go to search for it on Hulu. hahaha. I'm going to write it down now!
