Wordless Wednesday

Summer is here and I think sometimes the zoo may get neglected or passed over for the amusement parks or waterparks.  We have a membership and take advantage of our local zoo year round.  

 I find it to be nice to visit early mornings as it is not as busy (although you may have more kids due to summer camps).

In the morning it is the perfect time to stroll at your own leisure. The heat and boredom has not set in for young ones.

I have discovered the day and time for story time and this event is great because it incorporates a live animal pertaining to the story!

As members you recipe many benefits.  You do receive a discount in the gift shop and restaurant. You also receive discounts off various programs, receive newsletters and are privileged separate events such as later zoo hours.

  We do enjoy our zoo and incorporate many learning opportunities with our visit as well.
