Banana Peach Non-Dairy Frozen Treat

  Today we are going to try an edible delight! I had a peach last night that was the best piece of fruit I have had in a while. The first bite was so juicy that I knew I was about to enjoy the rest of the fruit for the next 15 minutes.  I dragged the consumption out!  I took a bite, sat it down, came back from another and sat it down until sadly it was gone. No worries though because there were 4 more in the bag and No one else knew how good they really were.

  I have made the infamous non-dairy ice cream with bananas before but today I raised the bar! I added peaches!

2 ingredients and a food processor is all I used in addition to the freezer.

1 frozen banana

1 ripe peach

1. Blend the frozen banana in the food processor until smooth and creamy.

2.  I then refroze the creamy banana for a half hour.

3. Slice up some of your peach!  After I sliced a side I actually only used a tablespoon of the peaches for my 1 banana.

4.   Add your spoonful of peaches to the creamy banana blend together again and add it back to freezer for a couple hours or until it's reached a texture to your liking.

  Your healthy 2 ingredient non-dairy frozen dessert is done! Grab a spoon and dig in.  Now this is only one serving so if you don't want to share eat it when the kids are in bed! Or double the recipe and offer a healthy treat to the kids too.

Bouncing Happiness

This toy here makes for a fun day outside!  Believe me when I say all ages will smile at this entertaining ball of catch.  I received this product a couple days ago and waited ever so patiently for the tension to reach a certain level in the house before I decided to pull out the box and introduce its arrival to our family.

This kit arrived to us from Toys R Us.  I was able to select my color from 4 options.  The kit comes with 1 Super Wubble Bubble Ball, a air pump that's takes 4 AA batteries, petroleum jelly, and patches.

You fill the ball and that was the easy part.  The instructions say fill to under 3 feet.  I still wonder about that.  Was I suppose to have the ruler out there?  I filled it, chickened out and filled it a little more.  Who really likes to have a balloon pop in their face?  Truth be told that is one of my phobias!

  Blowing it up was easy once you have the nozzle in the ball the right way.  It blew up immediately.  When you pull out the nozzle the ball seals itself basically to keep the air in.

We played catch with it although most of the time we were chasing the ball.  It's a little hard to catch.  It had some slight weight to it and it bounced and drifted on the wind like crazy.

The ball is strong.  You are able to pinch it!

  This was a fun item for all of us to review.  This was definitely kid approved and mom thought it was neat too!

Wordless Wednesday

  As I download all the pictures I have accumulated on my phone I can't help but wonder what we did before phones?  Oh yeah we used cameras.  My phone likes to give me a reality check once and awhile and tell me I can not keep everything. Please remove something.  Holding my phone for hostage. My phone tells me if you want more storage you hoarder dump some stuff.  So today I am reflecting on the beauty of nature.  Winter will be here soon enough.  Colors will fade as flowers die, insects and other critters will hide as well.  Then we will just have the silence and cold.

 

  I will miss all the vivid colors.  I will not miss the critters so much.  We do have a pass for the local gardens which I think is neat because you get to see what does thrive in the colder winter months.  So we will make a fee trips there.
