Honesty with No Regret

I'm going to use the prompt today for the NaBloPoMo writing challenge.  If I could be completely honest with no regret what  would I say and to whom.

The more I say it the more that ideas pop into my head.  So without any order I will proceed with my list.  Yes, I have more than one thing to say to more than one person.

To some boyfriends in the past......to be honest it wasn't you it was me.  I wasn't comfortable with myself.  I didn't know how to love or be loved  and sabotaged the relationships.  Pushed you away on purpose.

To some friends in the past.......when I was mad it was far too long.  I would know I was mad and actually forget why I really was but, pride kept me from groveling back.

I can admit as I age I mature.  With that maturity I am a better person.   I am taking one day at a time, practicing patience and trusting more people as well as taking chances and stepping out of my own box.  Thankfully I am being more honest and with less regret.

Voxbox review (comfort box edition)

As the deadline approaches for reviews, opinions and comments to be completed I wanted to show you what actually came in my comfort Voxbox.

A voxbox is sent from +Influenster  to individuals in order to obtain different views and ideas from a variety of individuals.   A select number of people are selected to participate with different boxes. People are selected based on a variety of demographics.

This is my second physical box after just joining this year.  This box just like the previous one offered a variety of items.  I was not disappointed but intrigued with some items I had never tried before and was fortunate to comment on some I have had before.

This box had a variety of items in it ranging from physical items, coupons to immediately purchase the items or coupons for items to purchase in the future.  One coupon I needed to use immediately to complete tasks was for Ragu.

The rest of the items came in my box and I was able to use or eat them immediately.
I made this soup for lunch.  I even bought some Annies cheddar crackers to go with this delicious tomato soup.
This was another product I was not familiar with.  This bag provides snacks for days of delicious chocolate covered bites of almond popcorn.
Tide brand I have used to wash my clothes but they now offer another alternative.  Dye free and stain release.  Great product if you have sensitive skin.
Fiber Choice! I have heard of fiber and wasn't really familiar with a chewy option.  These gummies are sweet with a hint of citrus flavor and make taking fiber supplements pleasant!

So those are all the goodies from this box.  My comfort voxbox.  I can't wait till I get my next box and too see what it holds.

Feel free to use my link to grab some samples and voice your opinions too.

Who Is this Person

Today it's all about me.  My name is Rose.    I am a mom of 4.  Residing in VA by way of upstate NY and made few pit stops along the way due to the military.  Besides NY I spent time in ND so I know cold weather and snow.  I may not share advice but will share the good, bad and ugly of my family journey.  I will share what worked for us and will learn along the way from my mistakes and your assistance.

I do homeschool my younger children although due to their ages one is more cooperative than the other. So I just try to sneak in learning to my almost 3 yo when he's not looking.

I enjoy working out.  I have an injury right now that has me taking a 2 month long break but when I'm done with this temporary lapse I will be back.

I enjoy exploring.  I have an on going challenge to finish seeing all the state parks of VA.  I frequent local parks and playgrounds with my kids.  We take hikes, ride bikes and rent boats.  We put plenty of miles on our shoes this year.

I am not a professional chef, baker or cook.  I do however know how to read and whip up recipes at sometimes even a moments notice.  I eagerly share the recipes I look up with you.  Right now I am working through a pumpkin challenge.  Everything in this challenge is not made by me.  I do include a pumpkin donut or latte that I pick up.

Lastly, I review various products, post local specials and share samples and national deals with you as I become aware of them.

I appreciate your company as I share with you what we are doing, seeing or being.  I am going to challenge myself along the way. Maybe start and complete a few books, some DIY projects and whatever else looks fun.  Misery loves company or happiness is having company.  Either way your always invited to follow my day.
