Well I succeeded with my 25 miles goal last week.
This week goals!
1. Hit the gym 5 days. This is not a challenge, chore or goal for me but taking a different class would be! I use a variety of cardiovascular equipment and lift weights but classes I tend to shy away from.
Monday: Aerial Yoga
Tuesday: TRX
Wednesday: Line Dancing (this is a regular class for me) Maybe I will find something else on this day as well!
Thursday: to be determined
Friday: to be determined
2. You know what else I'm horrible at drinking water. Even 8 glasses is asking a lot. It's not that I'm filling up on other stuff because I'm not. I may just go all day without drinking anything. So I will focus on 8 and shoot for drinking 10 glasses everyday and keep track on app.
3. Part of me wants to add a cardio goal to go with this fitness week but I'm not sure what to set the goal at. This week I'll shoot to cycle ...25miles is too low because I can do that in a day. Not sure if 100 is too much. That's 25 a day. Kind of seems like a lot. I guess I'll shoot for 50! Let's just see what I get but, I'll cycle this week instead of run!
4. Finish my book! Sounds like a great idea! There's 450 pages in the book!
Way to go on your goals!! I love weekly running goals. They really worked for me when I was logging miles.
ReplyDeleteCardio goals are kind of fun because I'm so thrilled when I made it farther then I thought I could do.
DeleteGreat goals and congrats on acheiving your goals! I do weekly goals and then break them down to daily goals. Keep on going with your book!
ReplyDeleteGreat job hitting your goals!! I found that water was easier to drink if I got a HUGE water bottle - the kind that keeps water COLD all day. That way I didn't have to fill it as often to be successful. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteOooh that might help because I only drink cold water! I do need it right next me too because if it has to get refilled, or sit in the fridge it's as good as forgotten.
DeleteGreat goals! I have a hard time with the water intake, as well, but do manage to get in at least 2 cups a day...some days more. I hate cardio, but I really do need to get back into the swing of things.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to live by my Happy Planner and really hold myself to goals this fall! Writing things down and making check boxes help me to keep focused.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great it seems! Good luck with your goals. I struggle to drink enough water at times too.
ReplyDeleteI need to add water into my list ! its a lovely list to be followed
ReplyDeleteNice to be ahead, but I am with you when it comes to drinking water. I am horrible at it, as I only drink when I am thirsty or eat when I am hungry.
ReplyDeleteI believe you are on the right track, keep on the good fight and you will achieve your goals. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my, You got me motivated so much, Currently I'm on 3 day workout a week and need to stretch to 5 days atleast. Great for achieving your goals.
ReplyDeleteWow so I admire you for being so organized! I love to be fit as well, I guess trying the aerial yoga will be my assignment. Good luck on your goals! - ANOSA
ReplyDeleteGood job on achieving your goals this week! I need to get more organized and actually make weekly goals so that I can work on achieving them! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tips for getting in your workouts. It's always a great idea to mix up different activities so you don't get bored and lose interest. Aerial Yoga sounds fun!

Same here sometimea failing to meet the 8 glasses of water :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I didnt know there's a reminder app for that!
That's awesome reaching your goals this week!! I'm also terrible at drinking water, it doesn't occur to me which is really bad I drink lots of herbal teas (which are all hot water) but forget about the straight water.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on hitting your goals. I wouldn't underplay going to the gym as much as you have, even if you find it easy. It's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI am so bad at drinking enough water too. I need to do what you're doing. It's inspiring.
