Welcome December and Goals

At last we have made it to the last month of the year.  This is the month that people scramble, people organize or people take advantage of.

Scramble because they want to lose weight before the end of the year.  Organize because next year I'm going to do xyz.  Take advantage of because I can eat everything I want because the diet starts next month.

This month we will be busy with Elf antics.
The Elf made his day 1 appearance today.  Our elf unlike the traditional elf does not create havoc all the time.  He would have made a better entrance had kids went to bed sooner and I was more prepared.

The Elf spilled some flour but we managed to still have enough to make some pancakes this am!

31 days of fitness is also my goal.  The fitness will be made up of outside fitness (biking, jogging), gym time or workouts at home.  The only stipulation is it needs to be at least 30 minutes.  I should challenge myself with water consumption too because I'm horrible at this.

We will hopefully squeeze a couple more books.  I'm struggling to finish 3 I have on hand.

I will teach at least a few more alphabet lessons before the holidays.  I will also post some fun Q and A session!

Feel free to share your elf stories and if your inspired or motivated to move a little more daily I would love to hear about that too!

Last Day of Elf

So I never did get around to posting out last day of Elf of day 24.  We regretfully didn't have a big send off.  In fact since we were housing the Elf away from the whole story line he is still with us now.

He may or may not get packed up but I guess a going away party really isn't necessary when he's not leaving.  But now that I think about it we can't have a party for him arriving either if he's already hanging out with us.  I will have to evaluate this further down the road.  Until then he was up to a little bit of fun for the 24th.

Poor Elf was tucked in the refrigerator this morning.  I'm not sure how long he was in there but at least he had on a blanket.

My daughter also pointed out our milk had been claimed and tampered with.  No one was alarmed enough to not drink it though.

He apparently liked colors today as he prepared the kids bath as well.

Bubbles and blue.  Nothing could be better except for some exotic island with 70° weather and no sharks!

Well with the Elf staying for now we shall see if he does any random acts of good or bad behavior.

Again my children enjoyed him. They knew it was all in fun and my youngest daughter even made request for what she thought the elf should do or what she was thinking about making him too.  I think this way was just as fun as the don't touch, he definitely did it and he's going to disappear elf.

I hope everyone had a great holiday!

7th Day of Elf

A peaceful nights sleep was maybe to deep of a sleep.

I think I even went to bed early last night. So that led to more peace and quiet in the house for a longer period of time.  It's early so let me turn the light on and see what I'm really seeing.

Oh yeah now with the light on it paints a brighter picture. My tree is clearly laying down.  Why is my tree tipped over?  We don't have a cat.  No earthquakes in my part of the world! What happened to my tree?

As I look closer I see my little friend.
Always smiling.  Always looking as if he says "Who me, I didn't do it or what happened here."
