Well this week was pretty busy! Not only did we celebrate a new year! I celebrated my birthday!
I finished 1 books for my reading challenge for the year and started on my next!
We got our first real snow here. So that led to some winter fresh air.
So far I'm doing well on my goals. My fitness had a couple days off but, I'm not stressing over it because you do need rest days, right. Besides I started the week off pretty strong with!
How did your first week go? No worries and don't stress. If you are still formulating a plan or just playing it by ear. I wish you luck on the upcoming week for whatever you want to accomplish.
Well good to know, that your new year is going well. The Only thing I am concerned is something else, which I won't get on certain period of time, till then I can just wait only.
ReplyDeleteThat's a super productive week! Happy belated birthday and congratulations on sticking to your fitness goals. Yes, rest days are as important as work out days. My first week was really bad, I kind of went through New Year blues. But the second week has started well so hope I will have more to talk about as the week ends :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your new year blues continue to stay away and you are still doing well.
DeleteWow, that is some serious snow! I'm so jealous, I'd love to be able to play in the snow. Also, it sounds like you're doing great on your goals so far! Keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday and Happy New Year! Did you get anything nice for your birthday? It is great that you got your first bit of snow as well, we had a bit in December but have not had any snow since!
ReplyDeleteMy kids got me some makeup and nailpolish. I guess all the subscription bags they see sparked that great idea.
DeleteHappy Birthday and Happy New Year hun xoxo!! I can see that you had lots of fun. BTW I had read the book Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur and must say that its a good one :)

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday and happy new year, I need to start reading more books since one can never stop learning and it's a good habit to introduce. Wishing you all the best in your year.
ReplyDeleteThats cool you finished 1 books for your reading challenge. Was it good?
ReplyDeleteIt was a pretty intense book. A lot of feeling and emotion on every page regarding relationships.
DeleteBelated happy birthday! 2018 has been great so far. We've been under a deep freeze so we haven't gotten out much - looking forward to when we can do outdoorsy stuff again.
ReplyDeletei love the kids playing in the snow! No worries or stress this side as well, just doing the best that I can with my blog and chilling with the husband!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a very productive week. My first week was truly lazy. Haha. I didn't work a full week, and we didn't start back homeschooling until today.
ReplyDeleteOh wow how busy was your first week of 2018! Happy Belated birthday and go you for having read a book already I haven't even stopped to pick one up this year yet!

ReplyDeletemy year is going awesome, i'm in my second year in college and my blog has about 2,000 views, wooo!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your second year of college. 2000 views is awesome!!!
DeleteMy first week has been relaxing and chaotic at the same time. I took some time off from work and my kids were still on vacation so we get to spend some time playing boardgames and watching movies. This week, back to the routine!
ReplyDeleteMine was still in vacation-mode sleeping and actually just starting to adjust to the work mode. Ah am thinking of the next long weekend again!
ReplyDeleteI like these style of posts, I really enjoy looking back on the week. How many books have you set yourself to read for your reading challenge?
ReplyDeleteAmi xxx
My goal is to read 50 books this year. I made 40 last year and I slowed down a lot in the summer so Im thinking it can be done.
DeleteFirst of all, Happy Birthday! Also, Happy New Year! I know 2018 will be huge for you! Hope to see more of your posts soon.

ReplyDeleteSo much for leaving 2017 behind. I hope you are feeling better now.
DeleteHappy bday! Yes, playing i the snow with the kids is FUNNNNN! looks like you had a good week... my week was pretty good, went ice skating and sledding with my kids, ate good food, started my new 2nd job and I like the people I work with...hmmm... that about sums it up!
ReplyDeleteI want to take my kids skating. There are a few places that offer that. Sledding is a whole other story. There are very few hills which is necessary for sledding. Liking people at work is HUGE!
DeleteMy first week was great. I finish my water challenge with sister. I also finished my book challenge with my besties.
ReplyDeleteCheers to our water. So far I have done good daily!
DeleteLooks like you had a great and happening first week of 2018!!Loved your photos. I've read Milk & Honey & found it really intense and good! :)
ReplyDeleteI had heard the book was good but, didn't have any idea what I was getting into.
DeleteAm jealous with your kids, they have experienced the real snow! Me not yet, so we just satisfied ourselves on faux snow, hahaha
ReplyDeleteMy first week has been crazy busy with writing, as is my second week. Just one of those crazy things. Ah well. Got to get through this January.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow in Atlanta the week before Christmas. This week was a weird week for Ga as UGA lost to Alabama and trump was in the city so there is that...
ReplyDeleteYou managed to pack a lot of action in a single week. Belated happy birthday!! Hope you have a fabulous year ahead. Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the type of report back that we love to hear! Keep up the positive mindset and the rest of your year should look just like this! As for myself, I truly can't complain. It's been incredibly busy, but nonetheless a stressless and joy filled week!
ReplyDeleteHappy New year its so good to know that you have achieved most of what you planned. Keep going.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds you really had a good first week! Unlike mine which I had to go through family dramas and stuff like that haha!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to read the Milk and Honey book, hear such great things about it.
ReplyDeleteIt was available on Kindle for me for free so I took advantage of that.
DeleteGlad your year is off to a good start! I hope to fit in some reading this year too.
