New Year Words to Live for

Last year I jumped on the wagon of finding words to live by for the year.  Words that motivate me or encouraged me.  Strong words that I could repeat to myself for those desperate times or situations.  I liked chanting them to myself or reminding myself why I was doing what I was doing.  I was determined. I was focused.  Inspiration and motivation not just for me but anyone that was looking at me.  I wanted to be seen as a leader.

I have decided to go with another few words this year.

Faith
Strength
Pursue
Live life

They are all pretty self explanatory but also the words definition are at my discretion.

Faith doesn't just stop at the church.  It's also for me faith that I can do what I set out to do.  Faith to stay sane and get the job done no matter how hard the task is.

Strength is a state of mind as well as the muscles carrying the weight.  If it's to heavy can I mentally handle it?  Can I carry the load another way?

Faith and strength will help me on this journey together.

Pursue the journey. My eyes are open but I don't know everything thats on my path. I need to stay the course.  I need to keep going.

Live life!  Live life for me. Live life for my family.  Live life for the experience.  When I want to give up I need to live life.  I can't look for the shortcut.  I can't look around I need to plow throw.  I need to hold my head up and wipe the tears that flow.  It will hurt but I need to live life because at the end it will be worth it. I just need to get there.

Faith. Strength. Pursue. Live life.

All of them have different meanings but will help each other and depend on each other to help ease the difficult hurtles in my journey leading to a happy, successful, productive ending!

  3. Such powerful words. This year I have added Limitless because I will no longer allow limiting beliefs to hold me back.

    1. Limitless sounds very compatible with my strength. Free to be me, free to take control. Free to let loose. No limits will allow you to be more open to things be it opportunities or relationships. Limitless is good.

  11. I love these. Sounds like you really thought everything out thoroughly. This year, I haven't really sat down to think about resolutions. I do know that I want 2017 to be a little more "simple" than 2016. I've made things so complex and over-complicated in the last few years in all aspects of my life and I want to go back to a simpler time!

    1. That's so true. We sit here and plot and plan when it would be nice to enjoy the ride with whatever comes up. We don't need to plan for every minute.
