It's OK (by me)

It's that time again. A time to reflect on who cares, so what, it's ok! I'm going to play along with airingmylaundry today as I tell you what items/events/activities  are OK by me.

Click here for her current post!

It's OK that I may actually miss out on the 2 special limited time drinks offered by Starbucks.

It's OK that the end of the year is almost here.  I'm focused on starting a new year!

It's OK that I have my DVR set for the new season of Housewives of Atlanta and Steve Austins Broken Skull Challenge coming up in November!

It's OK that I'm reading 2 books at one time because one is for fun and the other is for my book club!

Are you ok?  Because if your not you should be!

  3. I have read two books at the same time before. I had to read one for a class I was taking and found it boring.

  5. I generally miss out on the Starbucks limited edition drinks, but I made a point to get the zombie frappuccino this year. It wasn't my favorite, but it was ok. My kids sure loved it!

    1. I saw a split of likes and dislikes with these drinks. I had the unicorn drink and everything seemed to not like that.

  19. Ha, ha, in the past, I only ever read one book at a time. When I met people who mentioned they had three books sitting on their bedside table, I couldn't quite wrap my head around this... I gave it a try. I'm a convert ! In fact, I unleashed something and now I can have upwards of ten books at once that I'm actively reading :-)

  20. Of course it is ok if you do not do the same thing as your peers and it is great that you are happy with what you have. It is so important to express gratitude! x

  22. I love your message, giving permission to simply be OKAY. For me, it's okay that I feel tardy in completing what I was "Supposed to" do. I know I'm okay b/c I, too, am in progress...and ya know, that's really OK <3 ;-D

  23. Time flies by so quickly that you feel like you haven't done enough. I too read couple of books at once though it takes a lot of time to finish reading them.

  24. I'm always reading more than one book at a time. To me it'ls like keeping up with watching multiple television series at one time . What's the dif right?

  29. I am using this words a lot now and when I do I actually become more productive. I get to focus on something else that really needs my attention. Like this morning I skipped making my bed and it's ok, I was able to do something more important.

  33. I have perused various books in the meantime earlier and dependably thought it was simply me who did that. I am likewise beginning to concentrate on the new year ahead as this one is drawing near to an end. Time passes too quick.
