Getting creative with chalk markers (review)

Say hello to the new markers in town.  I have been eyeing these chalk markers for a while and got to try them out.

Think of art.  Think of bright colors. Think of your art being enhanced to another level.  All of that can happen with these markers. You can make your statement with these marker!

12 colors to include gold and silver have you covered for all your coloring needs.

The marker also have a 2 tip option. 6mm point allowing for a thin outline or a thick shade.

The reversible tips are easy to pull out and flip over in order to change the tip out.

To get started with the markers you need to push the tip down first, followed by shaking them then press tip down to fill with ink on surface.

These markers perform best on nonporous areas.  It is suggested to test on small areas prior to using them.

I used them on a chalkboard! Tried on the corner with a successful removal when I wiped it off.

This is the board after I wiped off the marker.

Everything came off but the gold lettering was a little harder to get off. You can still see traces of it after I scrubbed it off.

You can also use it for special messages on your mirror!

Grab some velcro and leave a pen there for those times when grocery items pop in.

Overall I think the markers are great.  They are a fun item to use on anything and I really like the bright colors.  I can't wait till I get some blackboard labels and I will be labeling everything.

I received this product for a discount on exchange for my honest review and all opinions are my own.

Pick up a pack or two for stocking stuffers here! Kids, adults and all aspiring adults will appreciate these.

Festive String of Lights (review)

Although summer is officially very there's still time to hang out and socialize outside.  More time can be spent outside in more comfortable conditions because the summer heat is considerably lower as well.

Hanging out with your friends or family on your patio or poolside just got better with these festive lights.  These lights are solar powered which greatly helps if you don't have a outlet readily available or nearby.  The lights come with a stake of which you can leave in the ground to obtain your solar power.  Of course the lights can be used in your home too.  They don't take up very much room and if you decide to leave them up just make sure there is a window to charge the solar pack.

The lights are a nice soft light in primary colors.  The solar box allows you to turn on and off the lights as well as change the mode of the lights from constant to blinking lights.

The lights were ready to use out the box once you unraveled them.  Think of unravel like folding a map back after you opened it. You are able to string them however you see fit and have some leftover cord to hide the solar pack if you desire.  The dragonflies are made of plastic.  You can see detail in them both with the lights on or off.  They are space evenly apart so you can see all the colors without appearing like a blob.

Sticky Treats (review)

I finally made a batch of popsicles with my new review product.  Find the recipe we tried here.  I can only vouch for a sample of it as the three that I made were gobbled up by 3 kids.  Thankfully I still have a fruit blend available.

My take on these popsicle molds is its nice to have the ability to stand the mold and fill it.  The mold snaps into the base for easy filling as well as they can be placed on the counter.  The two bonus pushup pops  I place in a cup and fill then place in the freezer.  The pushup pops are definitely more kid friendly.  Less drops or atleast the drips are more contained.  Little hands can hold the popsicle sticks but there will be drips.

The seal was great after the popsicles were frozen that I needed to run them under some water to loosen the tops and the mold to separate as well.
