2018 Goals
Yes, there are two types of people. Those that make resolutions and start fresh at the start of a New Year and those that don't make resolutions but still start a New Year with the rest of us.
I have made several lists of what I want to complete or consider completing this year. Consider completing gives me that open window of no stress but want to complete but may not make it.
In 2018 I resolve to be more organized, to follow an order or plan, to be more precise and follow through what I start.
I have broken goals down in several areas because I like a challenge and each area will help me grow.
Blogger goals: to include more collaborations, engagement hopefully attend an expo and personally meet a few bloggers to name a few.
Family goals: to volunteer together more, roadtrips, play more games, more intentional play and interaction.
Fitness goals: continue exercising, try different classes, hydrate regularly.
Me goals: reading, learn hairstyles for my daughter and continue with group interactions
I haven't figured out my strong words yet but had some last year and I like reflecting on them throughout the year so I will work on narrowing that down.
The first week is almost over. Have you figured out your resolution or yearly goals?
I am definitely one of those people that make resolutions and my blogger goals this year are similar to yours.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those people who don’t make New Years resolutions..... I feel like most of us come up with a list of goals we never actually do.... instead I look forward to the year ahead and where I see myself within that year. Shell
ReplyDeleteHydrate regularly. This needs to be my goal. I really need to write some down for 2018.
ReplyDeleteThanks for share your 2018 goals. I'm still working on mine. I know I defiantly need to work on the amount of books I read.
ReplyDeleteYes, and so far I'm sticking to them! Only 5 days in but I'm really motivated this year to organize, declutter and simplify my home, which I'm hoping will allow me to spend more quality time with my husband and our young daughter.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to spend more time with family and unplugging social media in regular intervals.. Wishing you all Success and have a fantastic 2018 !
ReplyDeleteI don’t make resolutions because my goal stays the same every year. It is just the matter of continuing or not!
ReplyDeleteResolutions don’t work for me but I try to just be more committed to things I already do. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteStill haven't figured out mine. Thanks for reminding though.lol
ReplyDeleteI make resolutions but more of guidelines that I wish to continue to grow on vs direct goals. A lot of mine are similar too yours especially the blogger goals! Cheers to a great 2018!
ReplyDeleteI don't really make resolutions, but my main goals are centered around growing my business further. I hope you reach all of your goals for 2018!

I'm one of the people who doesn't have any resolution or stopped doing it, but I have goals this year, and hopefully 2018 will be good for us. Have a great 2018!!!
ReplyDeleteMy goals are very similar to yours! making my blog was one, I am on with that and another was to be healthier for more energy with such a big family I need energy. I love goal and the ones you have chose, Good luck in 2018 :)
ReplyDeleteI love these! I have some similar goals, but I think I’m going to add one from your list! Volunteering more with family!
ReplyDeleteI'm so much happy that my goals match so much with yours. May you achieve al the goals with great road trips and more collaborations this year!
ReplyDeleteI am starting the new year fresh, I don't have any resolutions, but I am determined to be accountable for all my actions. I am also planning to do everything with enthusiasm which will make me appreciate life better.
ReplyDeleteThese are great goals! I love that you categorized your goals so you can focus more on it. I think your daughter will very much appreciate you learning new and different hairstyles for her! ...I know that will be in my future too for my daughter!
ReplyDeleteI dont have a wish 2018 list of thing I want to improve; I know that each day I must do the best I can, learn about the things that didnt went well and keep going, while I dont quit, everything is fine for me. But is about how everyone choose to live; is nice to think about family and the time we want to share with them; I want to learn the hairstyles too but, for myself. As you said, the first week is almost over, we have several weeks to improve ourselves!
ReplyDeleteI love how you organize your goals for the year. I could for sure work on my organization skills
ReplyDeleteLists of goal are, in my opinion, way more useful than resolutions. Resolutions are whirlwinds of change that people rarely stick to. Goals require planning. It looks like you're on a good track.
ReplyDeleteI always attempt to make resolutions, but rarely stick to them. This time I'm just focusing on what makes me happy and continue doing what I love. Great list of goals!
ReplyDeleteI don't normally make resolutions because I hate the idea of failing! But I made a few loose goals that I hope to accomplish this year!

My biggest goal this year is to plan meals better so we aren’t scrambling at 5pm and eating kraft dinner again lol
ReplyDeleteYour goals are great and very useful. Being more organize is definitely one of my goals too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLike your goals, which are not too different from mine. Plan to focus on fitness for sure.
ReplyDeleteFor me, my main goal is to stay consistent and do everything with intention. I have a planner and another book that keeps me accountable
ReplyDeleteIF you read my resolutions post then you will know that I a the type of person that starts the new year with you all but without resolutions. I am however hoping to focus on my mind and soul this year so that I can grow to love and not doubt myself. Ultimately this will help me the most with my blog!

You have so many great goals! So far mine is to quit smoking which is going pretty good. Also to budget better.
ReplyDeleteI started really strong last week and I'm planning to continue it. I have a fresher outlook this year. I have some goals to attain so I really want to be more disciplined in executing it.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually have yearly resolutions. I love your goals, most especially your blogger goals. Cheers to more fruitful year!
ReplyDeleteI did make a few resolutions this year. Some have already been harder than others, but I am aiming for progress, not perfection! The journey will continue despite set backs!
ReplyDeleteI love making goals not resolutions. This is the first year I have actually stuck to them. My blogging goals are similar to yours, I am still on the new side but I know I have so much room to grow. Happy new year and I hope your 2018 is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI have the goal of making more healthy choices both food wise and emotionally. 2017 was the the year I didn't say no until I was super stressed and made myself sick. 2018 will be the year of saying no is okay.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your 2018 goals! I'm looking to implement more health and fitness goals this year.
ReplyDeleteEach year I make New Year resolutions and work towards my goals. This year too I have set my goals.Hope to achieve those before the end of the year!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you made some great goals! Believe it or not, I am still working on mine!!
ReplyDeleteThese are some really great goals and I wish you the best of luck this year in achieving them.
ReplyDeleteI had stopped making New Year resolutions because I always broke them. This year I am motivated to change that trend as I am motivated by the idea that 2018 will be different. It will be whatever I want it to be. Inspired by you I will establish not only personal goals but family goals. I will organize for more road trips, and more intentional play and interaction.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in resolutions I keep breaking them always.. But will work on my goals..
