Movie!!!! There I said it. I know I was talking about no movie and dinner but today I will let it slide. Atleast here.
During the week there is always a matinee price. This price is a considerable difference from the regular price and maybe you can partake in it based on the price alone it might look more desirable. Near me the best rate for movies is Tuesday. All day Tuesday at two locations; movies are priced at $5 or $6. This price is for any movie, any time all day.
So if you can not get out today. Maybe I have at least opened your eyes to the possibility of checking out when the best rate is to go to the movies.
Saving a little money from going to a discount movie opens up more money for other things! Out local chinese restaurant has lunch deals until 4. So we could spend $20 for dinner and a movie. Although that's not going to happen because I need popcorn. (However I did purchase a refillable popcorn and drink container, so atleast it's half price)
Check your local listings for rates and times. I have my eye on a couple movies. I am a Bradley Cooper fan that would be a good start!
Have a great date and I will see you guys tomorrow. Feel free to let me know if you checked out a movie tonight or if you plan on catching one on the weekend.
A movie sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't been to the theatre in a while, and I want to take my oldest to see the Peanuts movie.
ReplyDeleteI love going to matinees because it's usually less crowded but more importantly it's much cheaper. I'll probably go to the movies this weekend to see Goosebumps or Spectre.
